“After much consideration, we have decided to close our Rock and Brews Tustin location,” said Rock and Brews marketing director Katy Carr, in a written response. “We were recently approached by a buyer interested in the space and, after careful evaluation, decided to accept their offer. We’re incredibly grateful to the Tustin community for their support and to our dedicated team members who helped create memorable experiences. We look forward to continuing to serve those who rock at our other Rock and Brews locations across the region.”

Opening to fanfare in 2020, the whopping 8,950-square foot restaurant, decked out in musician and concert posters, featured 52 beers on tap, 17 flat-screen TVs and a menu of wings, burgers, sandwiches, roast chicken, ribs, craft cocktails and more.

Founded in 2012 by hotelier/restaurateur Michael Zislis, concert industry veterans Dave and Dell Furano, and the aforementioned musicians of note, Stanley and Simmons, Rock and Brews has one remaining Orange County location in Buena Park.

The themed eatery maintains venues Los Angeles, Sacramento, Wisconsin, Texas, Florida and Kansas.

This Tustin closure comes on the heels of shuttering its Yaamava’ Resort and Casino location in Highland on Oct. 13.
